19^th Century Louis XV Style Ormolu Mounted Jardiniere / Planter on Stand, French, 1880

Very fine quality 19^th century Louis XV style, kingwood and ormolu mounted jardiniere / planter on a pedestal stand. Kingwood parquetry veneer. Decorated with two Sevres hand painted porcelain plaques. The jardiniere has a lid with ormolu handles, so can also double as a side table. This lifts off to reveal a new replacement brass liner, which is water tight and ready for planting. Immaculate condition. A beautiful piece.
