19th Century French Napoleon III Boulle Marquetry & Lacquer ‘Cave a Liqueur’ Drinks Cabinet

 Exquisite French 19^th century Napoleon III boulle marquetry and black lacquer liquor cabinet / ‘Cave a liqueur’.   A hardwood casket richly decorated with boulle marquetry in floral and geometric designs using tortoiseshell and brass, with a hinged lid and pull-out sides, which open up to reveal the contents inside. Original lock and key. On 4 ball feet

Inside is the complete set of original 16 glasses and four decanters each embellished with gilt decoration and fitted within richly chased foliate ormolu carrier with handle. The decanters and glasses can be removed from the display case for serving.
