Antique French Champleve Enamel, Onyx and Gilded Bronze Jardiniere, C. 1880

A fine quality late 19th-century champleve enamel & onyx Jardiniere. 

The body of the jardiniere is round in shape with a champleve enamel band around the top, plus a gilded bronze cut out gallery around the top.   The main body sits on tri-form legs depicting a female figure at the top and claw feet at the base.

The champleve is incredibly detailed, with good strong colours and in perfect condition.  The gilt bronze handles and feet both stylised with flowers.
