A pair of extraordinary Renaissance style antique French patinated bronze ewers depicting a bacchanalian scene with the God Neptune, around the main body. The exquisite scrolling handle takes the form of a dolphin, and the large decorative spout is in the shape of a large shell. A cherub sits a upon the side eating a bunch of grapes. Adorned with many highly decorative ormolu mounts.

A magnificent superb quality pair of ewers.
