A fine and superb quality pair of French 19th century patinated bronze and ormolu neoclassical candlesticks.

Each candlestick is raised on a foliate tri-form patinated bronze base which are surmounted by three finely carved ormolu griffin figures. Above this is a highly decorative bulbous stem leading to the ormolu candle cup.

French, Circa 1880
