Alabaster Statue of Seated Winged Cherub with a Butterfly,  French Circa 1890

Beautiful alabaster sculpture of a winged cherub / Cupid.  Sitting on a rock covered with drapery. The naked winged Cherub turns towards his arm where a butterfly has landed, which he delicately catches between his left thumb and index finger.  Signed by the artist.
