Stunning early Art Deco white Marble female figure of a Snake Charmer “Charmeuse de Serpent”  by Guglielmo Pugi,

The naked female snake charmer kneels upon a carved pattern rug, whilst leaning forward towards the snake, on a Marble base, with bronze snake and flute. Exquisite carving.

 Gugielmo Pugi (1850- 1915) born in Fiesole a small town close to Florence. He was a highly regarded and skilled sculptor who specialised in female figures and busts.
