Edwardian Mahogany ‘Metamorphic’ Rise & Fall Drinks Cabinet / Surprise Bar, C. 1900

Magnificent compact Edwardian mahogany metamorphic rise and fall drinks cabinet / surprise bar of freestanding rectangular box form, the hinged top opening to reveal a fitted interior with a tantalus of two crystal spirit decanters, gilt brass fittings and hinged handle, along with 10 x glasses of varying sizes.

Inlaid parquetry design around top edge and all panels. Tapered legs.   Inlaid Makers label: John Bagshaw & Sons Liverpool.
